• Account data: email address and authentication identifiers when you sign in.
• Resume content: the information you enter into the builder, stored so you can edit it later.
• Usage data: minimal, anonymized analytics about pages visited and feature usage.

2. How we use it

• To provide the resume builder and AI features you request.
• To improve product quality and detect abuse.
• To communicate important service updates.

3. AI processing

When you use AI features (rewrite, summary, ATS score), the relevant text is sent to our AI provider for processing. We do not use your resume content to train AI models.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with infrastructure providers that help us run the service (hosting, database, AI), under strict confidentiality.

5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. Contact us at privacy@buildcv-ai.online.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and resumes until you delete them or close your account. Anonymous analytics may be retained longer.
